It is our pleasure to share with you our Mini Aussie & Mini American Shepherds. These adorable Miniature Australian & Mini American Shepherds are known for their sweet, easy going personalities and their busy, athletic natures. We are
a small boutique breeder in West Gippsland, Victoria, Australia.
Our dogs are great for households that contain a lot of active youngsters because they like nothing better than to spend time with their human family members. Miniature Australian Shepherds make devoted, affectionate family members.

Once part of our Southern Suns MAS Community, you are connected via a private facebook group, where one can share, ask advice and keep in touch. Play dates can be organised and support provided.

Our Story
I’d like to welcome you to Southern Suns MAS. Our journey with these amazing dogs started when my first 3 breeders left a Canadian Winter December and arrived in a 40 degree Australian Summer. A culture shock for sure but they all settled in just fine. These 3 furkids were registered Mini Aussie Shepherds with the American Stock Dog Association (ASDR).
As the years progressed, so did the size of our furkid family with the introduction of Wagontails King of Oz and Wagontails Lily in 2021, Pleasant Woods Cherokee Chick, Pleasant Woods Hearts N Roses and Alta Rambo Lin Rose all in 2022, all who are registered Mini American Shepherds with the Australian National Kennel Council, ANKC.
